Jay Brooks
Director
Having worked for a couple of years in London as a TV Researcher for Nickelodeon and other smaller production companies, Jay joined a leading independent recruitment business as a Recruitment Consultant way back in 2007.
Within 6 years he had been promoted to Sales Director, had moved the business to Bristol and was leading a team of up to 20 high performing consultants. After another 7 years running the brand Jay decide it was time to a join a recruitment business that was more in line with his desired way of working and cultural values.
Jay joined WeDoData as a Director in its 4th year of trading and now Owen and Jay run the business with a clear aim. They want to utilise their decades of experience to offer the best service they possibly can in the Data, Analytics & Insight space, whilst doing so in a way that is honest, fair and dare we say it…fun!
Outside of work, Jay is married with 3 children and loves nothing more than introducing his kids to the films and computer games he enjoyed growing up and socialising with close friends and family.
Owen O'Neill
Founder
Following various sales roles mainly in the high performance car sector with Honda and TVR, Owen started working in Recruitment in 1999 and in 2001 was promoted to run a regional office in Bristol.
He left in 2003 to set up on his own and ran his own Bristol based IT recruitment business until 2015. He founded WeDoData in 2016 as it was clear that the future of recruitment lay in “inch wide, mile deep” companies that specialised in niche sectors.
WeDoData has been formed to be that specialist Data recruitment business that both clients and candidates can rely on getting a straightforward level of service from, every time.
Outside of work, he used to race cars, fly planes and ride motorbikes, but now focuses his time on his two young sons, who are keeping him on his toes.
