Are you a Data Solution Architect looking to be a part of a major transformation programme?

Are you a Data Solution Architect schooled in data modelling, data governance, data integration, and visualisation techniques?

Are you a Data Solution Architect who is able to design AWS Cloud-based solutions?

I am currently looking for a Data Solution Architect to join a leading national company based in the Gloucestershire area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the entire development, and also evolution of the overall approach to data within the entire company.   


You will play an integral role in leading the thinking on how data solutions are architected, and communicate that to stakeholders including product owners, technical specialists, and also developers.

Required Skills:

·         Expertise in the principles of data architecture and data management.

·         Familiar with the evolving demands of a modern data platform architecture, encompassing structured and unstructured data, batch and streaming flows, schema change management, and machine learning data consumption needs.

·         Authoritative, credible, and collaborative when dealing with any type of stakeholder.

·         Experienced in logical and physical data modelling for both transactional and analytical systems.

·         Practical experience of working with ETL tools such as Talend and SSIS.

·         Familiar with AWS data technologies such as S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, and Glue.

·         Understanding of BI tools such as Power BI and OBIEE.

·         Understanding of SOA and integration solutions such as Mulesoft.

·         Practical experience of the implementation of data stewardship, including master data management, data quality, and data dictionaries.

·         Comfortable working with other solution architects and enterprise architects.
